Stitching of School Uniforms 2024-25 Certain Istructions Issued

• Telangana Samagra Shiksha - Stitching of School Uniforms through Women SHG members in the State during the year 2024-25 - Certain Instructions - Issued - Reg.

         All the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio District Project Officers, Samagra Shiksha, in the State are informed that indent has been placed with TSCO, Hyderabad for supply of 2 pairs of uniform cloth (Woven Uniform Cloth Polyester Cotton as per approved Type / Design given in 2023-24) for 2L,Lg,43g students of all Govt. Local Body, TREIS, KGBV, TSMS, URS, TWPS & private Aided schools of classes I to XII in the State for the year 2O24-25. Further, they are informed that Polyester Cotton with pre-dyed yarn and Woven Checks only for Shirting and Post-dyed fabric for Suiting which is Polyester Cotton.

        In this context, they are informed that as per instructions in the reference 3'd cited, stitching process of School Uniforms for the year 2024-25 has to be taken up with Women Members of Self Help Groups only.

Therefore, the following instructions are issued for supply of two pairs of stitched uniforms to the students for the year 2024-25 for strict compliance.

1. Entire stitching process of school uniforms for the students of classes I to XII of all Govt. Local Body, TREIS, KGBV, TSMS, URS, TWPS & Aided schools for the year 2024-25 shall be taken up by Women Members of Self Help Groups in the District.
2. The process of entrusting of stitching of Uniform Cloth to Self Help Groups shall be got approved by the District Collector & Chairperson, Samagra Shiksha of the District.
3. Identification of Self Help Groups to take up the stitching process for the Schools in the District shall be completed by 15.03.2024.
4. TSCO shall supply uniform cloth for (2) pairs per student as per indent placed with them. TSCO shall supply Uniform Cloth at Mandal point to the MEO concerned.
5. Uniform Cloth colours for the year 2024-25 is as follows:
   a. Boys:- Red & Ash Colour Checks printed (Shirting)/ Maroon Colour Dyed/Kora (Suiting).
   b. Girls:- Red & Ash Colour Checks printed (Shirting) /Maroon Colour Dyed/Kora (Suiting)
6. Type/Design of Uniform Cloth for the year 2024-25 is mentioned below and the detailed guidelines on this is enclosed herewith as Annexure-I.
   a. For Girls;(6th-12th Classes): Waist coat , and Punjabi dress with color neck and hand loops
   b. For Girls: 14th&5thclasses): Shirt with shoulder loop with two pockets and skirt.
   c. For girls (1" - 3'd classes): Body frockwith strap.
   d. For Boys Bth - 12th Classes: Shift with two pockets ,hand loops and straps and pants.
   e. For Boys 1st -7th Classes: Shirt with two pockets hand loops and straps and Short pants.
7. The Self Help Group identified for the School to take up stitching process, shall collect the measurements of students, student wise by 31.03.2024. 
8.  The Self Help Group shall stitch uniforms as per prescribed type/design mentioned as above and in the Annexure-I without any deviation.
   
9. The Headmaster of School shall receive the Uniform Cloth from the MEO and shall handover the Uniform Cloth to the concerned Self Help Group identified for stitching process under proper acknowledgement.
10. Stitching cost of uniform cloth @ Rs.50/- per pair per child shall be paid to the concerned Self Help Group.
11. The statement showing District wise indent of supply of uniform cloth for the students for the year 2024-25 along with stitching cost is enclosed herewith as Annexure-II. 
12. The stitching process of uniforms for the students by Self Help Groups for the year 2024-25 shall be completed by 01.06.2024.
    
    
    The District Educational Officers & Ex-Offlcio District Project Officers, SS in the State are requested to take immediate necessary action as above and issue necessary instructions to the Headmasters/Principals/Special officers of all Govt. & Local Body, TREIS, KGBV, TSMS, URS, TWPS & Private Aided Schools and MEOs in the District for strict compliance of above instructions at Schoo/Mandal Level to ensure that stitching process uniforms for school children is completed by 01.06.2024.
