v            RMSA, Telangana, Hyderabad- Implementation of CLix in 300 high Schools 13 districts – Preparing the teams to set the labs functional and make all the computer labs in 300 schools make functional – 2 Day meeting at IASE Masabtank from 19 – 20th followed by visiting the teams to the schools for preparing computer labs and functional – Orders issue.

v              The Principal, IASE, Masabtank and DEOs of 13 Districts i.e., Ranga Reddy, Vikarabad, Medchal, Karimnagaer, Peddapalli, Jagityala, siricilla, Warangal Urban, Janagaon Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Warangal Rural and Siddipet are hereby informed that the computer education programme which includes digital literacy and both students and teaches and integration of ICT in teaching the regular Curriculum in about 300 schools have been taken up in about 300 schools in 13 Districts in partnership with TISS Mumbai and Department of School Education.

v     In this regard, the major issue is making computer labs in 300 schools functional instructions have been issued earlier to all the DEOs for making labs functional with MIS Coordinators who have been trained earlier on hardware. However this was not taken up and no progress in making computer labs functional.

v      Now TISS took initiative to contract certain personal who visit the schools and undertake and make labs functional. It is also proposed to take the service of MIS Coordinators i.e., 12 Members Whose list in enclosed to accompany the TISS team to the schools and participate in making computer labs functional.

   v       The training to the contract persons and MIS for two days shall be conducted at IASE Masabtank followed by visits to the districts by the teams to make labs functional. The schedule of school visit shall be communicated shortly. The budget for the two day training i.e., working lunch, tea stationery and TA and other expenditure including travel cost of MIS Coordinators to visit schools form RMSA funds.

      v        The Principal, IASE is requested to conduct the training programme and provide computer lab and arrange for TA, Lodge bill of Rs. 150.00 per candidate per day and Rs. 150.00 towards dinner breakfast, and local travel to the MIS Coordinators form the available training funds released from RMSA. However the Budget will be released based on the bills furnished including bills of earlier training for MIS Coordinators.

         v               Therefore all the DEOs of 13 District as above are requested to take immediate action and send the MIS Coordinators to the training programme and also issue instructions to the Head Masters of High Schools to make computer labs functional with the team visiting to the schools. The equipment required for computer lab repairs have already been provided to the DEOs by TSTS earlier. If any further material lawn switch cable etc., is not provided by the TSTS the same may be procured by the concerned Head Master using funds of School grants provided by RMSA and SSA
